Who we are
Rhodex Canada ("Rhodex," "we," "us," "our") operates the Rhodex website and platform, connecting clients with independent craftsmen. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Contact details you provide directly — name, email, phone number, service region.
- Craftsman credentials — trade, licence/certification information, experience, and related documentation submitted for a craftsman profile.
- Usage data — pages visited, general device/browser information, collected via analytics tools (see "Analytics & advertising" below).
- Form submissions — anything entered into our contact, client request, or craftsman application forms.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and connect clients with craftsmen.
- To review and process craftsman applications, including the credential checks described in our verification summary.
- To improve the website and understand how it's used.
- To communicate updates relevant to your account or request.
Third-party services
We use third-party tools to operate this site and may share information with them as needed to provide their service:
- Payment processing (Stripe) — to securely collect and process payments between clients and craftsmen.
- Email delivery (Resend) — to send account, application, and job-related notifications.
- Cloud file storage (Cloudflare R2) — to store job and application photos.
- Analytics & advertising (Google Tag Manager) — see "Analytics & advertising" below.
Analytics & advertising
We use Google Tag Manager to load analytics and advertising tools on this site, including Google Ads conversion tracking — measuring which visits to this site result in a completed quote request or application, so we know our advertising is reaching real prospective clients and craftsmen rather than guessing. These tools may set cookies in your browser and use general device/browser information (never anything you type into a form) to measure ad performance and, where relevant, show Rhodex ads to people who've visited this site. You can block this in your browser's cookie or ad-blocking settings at any time; doing so doesn't affect your ability to use the site or submit a request.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes described above, or as required by law. Craftsman documentation is retained as part of the onboarding and verification record described in our Terms.
Photos you send our AI advisor (for example, to help describe a repair) are handled differently from job photos: any embedded location or device data is stripped before the photo is stored, the photo is kept for 30 days and then deleted, and it is never linked to your other activity on Rhodex — the advisor keeps its own separate records.
Your choices
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting support1@rhodex.ca.
- You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
